The Fingal County Council Sports Office in conjunction with Sport Ireland invite applications for funding under the Sports Activity Funding Grant.

The scheme is open to Fingal based sports clubs who are affiliated the their sports National Governing Body and who have registered with the Fingal Public Participation Network (PPN).

The Sports Activity Grant aims to support sports clubs with activities/events that have a physical activity focus and will increase sporting participation in their local community for e.g. sports blitz, family fun day, community walk/run. This cannot be a closed event and must be open to anyone in the community to attend/participate.

A max of €500 per sports club is available with only one application per organisation allowed. Clubs can also apply for a sports equipment grant in the same calendar year. The fund must clearly be used towards the successful running/hosting of the event. Successful applications will receive 100% of the funding paid upfront. Clubs must ensure they have the adequate insurance cover to participate in the associated events.

Fingal County Council will not supply the information provided to any person or organisation unrelated to the funding process.
